Sunil started MAD Films with his dear friend Mukul Anand in 1991; the duo went on to make the best of Television Commercials & TV Shows the Indian television audiences had ever witnessed. Post the demise of Mukul Anand in 1997, Sunil was the first producer to have brought international directors to the Indian advertising industry and also the first production house in India to impanel directors producing multiple spots simultaneously. With the experience of filming in more than 30 countries, Sunil set up an additional vertical named MAD Studios in 2012, housing state-of-the-art infrastructure for film production sourcing equipment and technical gear from around the world. Over the years, Sunil has produced eleven feature films, including the national award-winning films ‘Paa’ & ‘MOM’ directed by R Balki & Ravi Udyavar. Following his creative instincts, Sunil continues to produce award-winning content in the long format.
Ricky started his career in 2008 as a production intern at MAD Films after completing his MBA in Switzerland. During his formative years, his interest in filmmaking led him to pursue this profession. In his career span of 15 years, he has worked on more than 350 TV commercials giving him essential exposure and experience for handling challenging and elaborate productions. He has been responsible for building the MAD Studios rental division, which helps him understand the technical aspect of filmmaking in-depth. In joint ownership with Sunil, he continues to carry forward the legacy of the company a generation ahead.
He is fondly known as Baggaji, the producer at MAD Films since its inception in 1991. He brings a wealth of experience and immense knowledge about the film production landscape. With the experience of working on 1500 TV Commercials, 14 Feature Films, and 3 TV shows, he is a master at planning and executing productions no matter how challenging; his abilities lend themselves wonderfully to our core leadership team.
Vridhii Asrani is an enterprising CA with 11 years of rich experience across industries, including the Big 4. With the opportunity of working in diverse backgrounds, she gained in-depth knowledge and vast exposure to accounting, audit, direct and indirect taxation, due diligence, and other related functions. Her core competencies include financial planning, managing finance functions, and designing and implementing systems, policies, and procedures to facilitate internal financial controls.
Aditya Pandey, our Head of Business Development and Partnerships, began his career in the hospitality industry. In 2014, he decided to shift and join Amazon to become among the first 100 members of the India team. With over eight years of experience and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing, sales, and brand integration, Aditya has a keen eye for understanding the brand's requirements and excels in creating the right content for them. He has vast exposure working for Fortune 500 MNCs, hospitality leaders like ITC hotels, and building startups.
